NBU Prepares Banks for New Banknote: 2,000-Hryvnia Note Featuring Stus Enters Circulation on September 4, 2026
The NBU has published a draft of amendments to the rules for banks' cash operations ahead of the introduction into circulation on September 4, 2026, of a new 2,000-hryvnia banknote featuring the portrait of Vasyl Stus. The amendments concern uniform requirements for the packaging of cash and will not require additional expenditures.
