Musk Announces Readiness of Blindsight Device to Allow the Blind to See
On October 30, 2026, Elon Musk stated that Neuralink's Blindsight device is technically ready and awaiting approval for human trials in the blind. The FDA granted it «Breakthrough Device» status back in 2024, and human testing has not yet been conducted.
