In the Bucha district of Kyiv region, a girl born in 2019 was injured in an evening drone attack. OVA head Timur Tkachenko reported the destruction of private houses; emergency services are working at the scene.

In the evening of 28 August, Russia struck a facility in Bucha district of Kyiv region near the "Kyiv — Chop" highway. More than 200 people were evacuated, fatalities are reported, and the death toll is being clarified. Prime Minister Horyachov suggested the attack may have targeted a military train.

After a UAV strike on an enterprise in the village of Myla, Bucha district, the prosecutor's office began checking the legality of explosives storage. At least 6 people were injured, there are fatalities, and more than 200 residents were evacuated.
