NBU on September 21, 2026: dollar rises to 44.67 UAH, euro falls — will deposit yields increase

The NBU on September 21, 2026 raised the official dollar rate to 44.67 UAH and lowered the euro to 51.19 UAH. Experts doubt that the policy rate hike will immediately increase the yield of hryvnia deposits.

Exchange rates for September 3: NBU raised the dollar to 44.60 UAH and the euro to 51.64 UAH, and also clarified the rules for early withdrawal of deposits

The NBU set the dollar rate for September 3 at 44.60 UAH (+15 kopecks) and the euro at 51.64 UAH (+11 kopecks). The regulator also clarified that early withdrawal of a term deposit is possible only if this is provided for in the contract.
