Verkhovna Rada Fails to Establish Expert Group for the Audit Office: Ukraine Risks $4.2 Billion Tranche
On September 1, 2026, the Verkhovna Rada did not support the establishment of an advisory group of experts for the Audit Office: 192 votes out of the required 226. The failure puts at risk the $4.2 billion tranche from the EU and the fulfillment of the IMF benchmark by December 2026.
