Formula 1 shortens races: from 2027, the distance of most Grands Prix will become shorter
Formula 1 has agreed to shorten the distance of most Grands Prix from 305 to 290 km from 2027 due to the new engines. The decision was supported by all teams; the final word lies with the FIA.
