Ukraine will experience another cooling on October 18: daytime temperatures 13–18°C, up to 23°C in the southeast, 9–14°C in the west. Rain is expected in the southern and central oblasts, with morning fog in the east. This was reported by the Ukrhydrometeorological Center.

On the morning of September 30, Kyiv was covered by dense fog and smoke from recent shelling. The SES explained the lack of wind, while ecologists recorded moderate air pollution.
