Canada introduces retaliatory tariffs of up to 50% on US goods amid trade escalation with the United States
From September 8, Canada is introducing retaliatory tariffs of up to 50% on US goods worth 27.6 billion Canadian dollars, along with a 7.5 billion support package for business. This is a response to the 50-percent US tariffs in effect since August 22.
