Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha called the resumption of Russian gas supplies to Europe a dangerous idea, stating it would revive energy blackmail and provoke new conflicts.

Shmygal stated that Ukraine has accumulated 14.6 billion cubic meters of gas in UGS, reaching the target fill level a month ahead of plan. The reserves are sufficient for the baseline scenario of the 2026/2027 winter.

Russia's night strike on Konotop left a large part of the city without gas and destroyed the 'Korund-S' bus fleet. The mayor reported damage to civilian infrastructure, with no casualties reported preliminarily.

🚨 Intelligence warns: Russia is preparing strikes against gas. 📉 GUR MO confirmed that in autumn and winter 2026, the GTS and extraction facilities in the Poltava and Kharkiv regions will be under attack. ⚠️ Nodes for gas import from Europe and withdrawal from storage are at risk. 💰 Reserves of 14 billion cubic meters may not be enough; additional purchases are needed (minimum 400 million euros). 💧 Strikes against water supply are also not ruled out. #Energy #Gas #Intelligence #Ukraine2026
