IDPs who have not received their September 2026 benefits can check the status of assistance through the Pension Fund. New rules provide automatic extension but require compliance with income criteria.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine (Resolution No. 1087 dated 03.09.2026) introduced the automatic extension of housing payments for IDPs for six months without reapplication. The changes apply to recipients whose payments were in effect until August 31, 2026.

The Chernivtsi Regional Military Administration has updated the list of benefits for IDP children: from free school meals to scholarships and free dormitories for students. An IDP certificate is required to receive payments.

The Verkhovna Rada has registered bill No. 15560: student IDPs under 23 are to be guaranteed a monthly housing allowance without a needs check, and the verification of education is to be automated through EDEBO.

The Pension Fund of Ukraine has listed seven grounds for terminating the monthly living allowance for IDPs — from major purchases and currency operations to prolonged stays abroad.
