Zhytomyr's Polissya beat Kryvbas at home in the 7th round of the UPL thanks to a penalty by Ihor Krasnopir, reaching 18 points and cementing first place in the table, three points ahead of Shakhtar.

The UPL Round 6 match between Kryvbas and Kharkiv never kicked off and was postponed amid prolonged air alerts. The UPL Board will determine the new date and time.

On the first matchday of the Round of 32 of the Ukrainian Cup, the first winners were determined: "Kryvbas" and Sarny's "Mayak." The match in Uman was interrupted due to an air raid alert.

Krivbass has terminated by mutual agreement the contract with 24-year-old Croatian defender Ante Bekavac, who had been playing for the club since July 2025. The parting coincided with the active reinforcement of the squad.

Odesa's Chornomorets secured their first win of the UPL season, beating Kryvbas 1:0 thanks to a goal by Faraseenko, while the Zorya vs. Kharkiv match was not finished due to air raid alerts and was rescheduled for August 31.
