Following the 36th 'Ramstein' meeting, Poland announced it is preparing a €50 million aid package for Ukraine, a significant portion of which will go to air defense systems. Germany confirmed on the same day the transfer of PAC-2 missiles and increased deliveries of AIM-9 and IRIS-T.

Alena Hetmanchuk, Head of the Mission of Ukraine to NATO, stated that through the end of 2026 Ramstein and PURL will focus on financing defense packages already approved by the US. Three countries — Australia, New Zealand, and Japan — have already made contributions.
