The Lublin Voivodeship Sejmik has unanimously terminated a cooperation agreement with the Lviv region that had been active since 2004. The decision was made in response to the Lviv Regional Council's declaration of 2027 as the 'UPA Year.'

Hungary declined to participate in the "Carpathian Eight" announced by Zelensky. Magyar explained this by the country's inclusion without consent and compared it to a football team in a neighboring village.

Zelensky summarized the first summit of the Carpathian Eight, announced on 18 September 2026. In his assessment, the potential of C8's joint projects amounts to billions of euros, and the format will become key support for Ukraine on its path to EU accession.
