SpaceX Restores Free Starlink Mini Rental for Premium Plan and Adjusts Hardware Strategy
🚀 SpaceX has restored the free rental of Starlink Mini for the Residential Max plan ($130/mo) in the US and Canada. The bonus, which disappeared in June, is available again.
⚠️ At the same time, the company has limited the new Starlink V5 antenna: the Standby mode ($10/mo) and GPS module have been removed. V5 is now only for the $55/mo plan and stationary use.
📉 V5 speed is up to 375 Mbps (lower than V4). SpaceX's strategy: premium clients get mobility, the mass segment gets simplified equipment.
