A fresh KIIS poll shows that government corruption worries Ukrainians more than shelling, cited by 50% of respondents compared to 40% for military strikes. Meanwhile, the majority of citizens still feel happy.

Sociologist Oleksiy Antipovych reported record-high anxiety levels in Kyiv amid general Ukrainian apathy. Public morale is declining due to ongoing attacks and political scandals.

The Sociological Association of Ukraine stated that the RF is preparing so-called State Duma elections in the occupied territories for 18–20 September 2026. Kyiv, the UN and the OSCE do not recognize their legality, while disputed rumors of mobilization surround the campaign.
