Volodymyr Zelensky moved to a closed tête-à-tête meeting with American envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner after several rounds of negotiations in Kyiv. The conditions for ending the war and the issue of Donbas were discussed.

Zelensky reported a 'detailed and constructive' phone call with Witkoff and Kushner, during which the date of their first visit to Kyiv was discussed. A specific schedule for the trip has not yet been fixed.

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated there are no prerequisites for a peaceful settlement, once again blaming Kyiv, and reported that the visit of Trump's envoys to Russia is currently undated.
