ISW recorded advances by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kharkiv, Donetsk, and Dnipropetrovsk regions. Ukrainian forces disrupted several Russian offensive operations, and Russian claims of capturing Odradne and Nikonivka were not confirmed.

An AFU F-16 pilot ejected on July 29, 2026, due to an abnormal situation while intercepting enemy targets. The pilot has been rescued and transported to a hospital; there are no civilian casualties. This is already the third incident involving an F-16 recently. ✈️🚑
