🏛️ The US Court of Appeals ruled that the Trump administration had no right to cancel funding for climate NGOs. 📉 In February, the accounts of eight organizations were frozen by order of the EPA and the Treasury Department. Funds from the $20 billion fund (under the IRA law) are now returning to the control of the funds. ⚠️ However, for many organizations, the victory came too late: during the freeze, the head of Climate United left, and Power Forward Communities was left with only 2 employees. The EPA may file an appeal to the Supreme Court.
