With the start of the summer tourist season, the western border of Ukraine is experiencing a traditional surge in passenger traffic. According to forecasts by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (SBGS), the load on border crossing points may increase by 20% this year compared to previous periods. In June, the daily number of border crossings reached 115,000 people, creating significant pressure on infrastructure.
Where are the bottlenecks forming?
The most critical situation has developed at the entry points into Ukraine from Poland. The Western Regional Directorate of the SBGS reports serious delays at the "Krakovets" and "Shehyni" border crossing points. It is here that the longest queues are forming, hindering the movement of vehicles and pedestrians.
At the same time, the situation at the exit from Ukraine is significantly calmer. About 20 cars were recorded at the "Uhniv" crossing point, while "Hrushev" and "Nyzhankovychi" had about 10 cars each. There are no accumulations of passenger cars at the other crossings.

For those planning to cross the border in the near future, there are less congested directions. Several crossing points remain free for entry, where waiting times are minimal or non-existent:

- Cross the border in the early morning or late evening hours when traffic intensity decreases.
