The Government of Ukraine is finalizing the development of an updated mechanism for full reservation of enterprise employees from mobilization. The main condition for receiving one hundred percent protection of the staff from conscription will be the voluntary involvement of some workers in military service within the country's Defense Forces. This was announced by Prime Minister Serhiy Koretsky in his Telegram channel.
New reservation rules and conditions for business
The Cabinet of Ministers states that the finalized changes are designed to balance the needs of the frontline and the rear. Enterprises will be able to count on a one hundred percent reservation only if part of the staff is regularly sent to military service. At the same time, the authorities guarantee compliance with social rights: jobs and salaries are retained for mobilized specialists, and the military personnel themselves will know the service terms and direction in advance.
Position of departments and decision-making deadlines
The Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Economy, together with representatives of Ukrainian business, are working out the practical parameters of the mechanism. The ultimate goal of the government is to implement a transparent and effective reservation system by December 1. Such measures are designed to provide predictable personnel rotation in the combat zone and a clear distribution of responsibilities between the state and the economic sector.
Goals and significance of the government initiative
The introduction of the new rules is dictated by the need to maintain the state's defense capability without critical damage to the functioning of key economic sectors. Clearly regulated service terms and understandable reservation criteria should eliminate uncertainty for employers and employees. The adopted changes are expected to create an effective rotation system that will strengthen the army and preserve the production potential of enterprises.
