Ukrainian Unmanned Systems Forces (USF) have reported a large-scale operation to strike energy infrastructure in temporarily occupied territories. According to command data, between July 1 and August 5, 201 energy nodes were destroyed, ensuring the functioning of major industrial centers and settlements.
Scale of the operation and recent strikes
USF Commander Robert Brovdi, known by the callsign "Madjar," confirmed that the operation is ongoing. In just the last 48 hours, on August 4 and 5, the "Ptaha" units struck another 13 facilities. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine citing official statements from the command.
The list of facilities destroyed in the last 24 hours includes critical nodes, such as:
- The "Natashino" gas distribution station in occupied Crimea;
- The "Yuzhnodonbasskaya", "Mirnaya", "Melitopol", "Azovselmash", and "Timofeyevka" substations;
- A facility at the Zuevskaya TPP;
- A substation in Kadiivka.
Geography of strikes and consequences
According to the Ukrainian command, facilities in the Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and Luhansk regions, as well as on the Crimean Peninsula, were targeted. The damaged substations operated at voltages of 750, 330, 150, and 110 kV.
These facilities were part of the power supply system for cities such as Mariupol, Melitopol, Berdyansk, Henichesk, Zuhres, and Primorsky Posad. The USF emphasizes that the "Crimea switch off" operation continues in the south, delivering systematic strikes against the enemy's energy sector.
At the time of publication, independent confirmation of the reported results has not been provided. Previously, Ukrainian military officials reported a series of strikes on Russian and Crimean military infrastructure, including facilities in the Bryansk and Belgorod regions.
