On Monday, October 26, 2026, Ukrainian fuel retail networks updated their pricing, marking another wave of fuel price increases. The primary trend of the day affected diesel fuel and liquefied gas, while gasoline prices remained stable across all key market segments.

Diesel price hikes across WOG and SOCAR networks

Throughout the day, the upward trend in diesel prices spread to leading fuel brands. Early in the morning, the WOG gas station network raised the price of all types of diesel fuel by 1.00 hryvnia per liter. In the afternoon, the SOCAR network followed suit, adding 1.00 hryvnia per liter to both standard and premium diesel.

Market participants note that current diesel price tags have already reached 110 hryvnias per liter. Fuel market experts attribute this dynamic to a complex international situation, pricing conditions in production regions, and logistics costs.

Auto gas situation and gasoline price stability

The morning hours of Monday were also marked by an increase in liquefied gas prices. Several major operators adjusted their tariffs upward: the SOCAR network raised gas prices by 1.60 UAH/l, while Ukrnafta and UPG added 1.00 UAH/l each. In the second half of the day, the auto gas market stabilized with no further spikes recorded.

Against the backdrop of rising diesel and gas prices, the cost of gasoline remained unchanged. Prices for all major grades, including A-92, A-95, and A-100, remained steady throughout the day across all major retail networks in the country.

Pricing factors and expert forecasts

Fuel sector specialists emphasize that future price behavior will depend on a number of external and internal factors. Key triggers cited by experts include the situation in the Persian Gulf, geopolitical shifts, and the overall stability of the energy infrastructure. At the same time, the possibility of saturating the market with cheap imported resources remains limited due to existing restrictions and the state of refining capacities in the region.
