Ukrainians who have accumulated funds on the 'National Cashback' program card have received a final reminder about the usage deadlines. The money must be spent by July 31, inclusive. This is reported by RBC-Ukraine citing an official message from the 'Diia' app.
Funds accumulated under the initiative are intended to support domestic manufacturers. They can be used to purchase goods and services of Ukrainian production, as well as to pay for a number of services.
How to identify suitable goods
For user convenience, online bookstores have created special sections for books from Ukrainian publishers. Publications that can be paid for with the program card are marked with the corresponding logo. This allows buyers to quickly find suitable literature.
The situation with medicines requires an individual approach. When buying Ukrainian medicines, specialists recommend checking in advance at the pharmacy or at the register whether a specific drug can be paid for with 'National Cashback' funds.
The full up-to-date list of stores, pharmacies, services, and categories where payment is available is posted on the program page in the 'Diia' app.
What will happen to the balance
It is important to understand the consequences of missing the deadline. All unused funds as of the end of the day on July 31 will return to the state budget. Cardholders will not be able to return them to their account.
Recall that on May 1, a new stage of the 'National Cashback' program started in Ukraine, and all current accumulations are being formed anew. Initially, it was planned that the money on the cards would 'expire' on July 1, but the deadline was postponed by a month. In early July, Ukrainians were credited with cashback for April — this was the last payment under the first stage of the program.
