Court Hearing on the Case of Civilian Killings in the Kyiv Region

For the first time, the court heard the position of Stanislav Luchanov, former commander of the 155th Separate Mechanized Brigade, regarding the high-profile case of the abduction and murder of two brothers. When directly asked if he admitted his guilt, the former brigadier general responded categorically: 'No, I do not admit it.' Luchanov also emphasized his disagreement with the charges brought against him.

Responding to questions from journalists, he stated that he had never seen the brothers, whose bodies were subsequently found on the territory of the military unit. According to Luchanov, the details of the incident must be established by the investigation. He also argued his non-involvement by stating that at the time of the incident, he was on leave and physically could not have given orders to his subordinates.
