As of October 15, 2026, a new wave of price increases has been recorded in the Ukrainian fuel market. Major retail gas station chains have updated their prices, with the main impact hitting the diesel fuel and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) segments, while the cost of A-95 gasoline has remained at the same levels.

Analysis of chain pricing policies

The most noticeable changes have affected premium gas station networks. Specifically, at OKKO stations, diesel fuel (Pulls and Euro) has increased by 1 hryvnia, reaching 103.90 UAH/L and 100.90 UAH/L respectively. A similar dynamic is observed in the SOCAR network, where the cost of NANO Extro diesel rose to 105.00 UAH/L, and NANO diesel to 104.00 UAH/L. The UPG network has also adjusted its diesel prices to 100.90 UAH/L, following the synchronous market movement initiated by WOG.

Situation with LPG

The LPG market has shown a steady upward trend for the second consecutive week. As of October 15, OKKO raised gas prices by 1 hryvnia to 49.90 UAH/L, and WOG increased the price by 60 kopecks to 49.50 UAH/L. The Ukrnafta and UPG networks have also revised their rates, setting the price at 46.90 UAH/L, which for the latter represents an increase of nearly 1.10 UAH per liter.

Contradictory data

It should be noted that there is a discrepancy in the pace of price adjustments between chains. While major players (OKKO, WOG, SOCAR) proceeded with a synchronous 1 UAH/L increase for diesel, budget or regional players (according to data from October 10-12) demonstrated less aggressive dynamics. A number of sources from October 12-14 pointed to the possibility of price stabilization after sharp jumps at the beginning of the month, but current data as of October 15 refutes these expectations, indicating a continuation of the upward trend.

Forecasts and influencing factors

Experts note that the current price increase is due to global market conditions and logistics costs. The stability of A-95 gasoline prices at this stage may be explained by the availability of previously accumulated stocks at fuel depots. Motorists should prepare for further volatility, as the energy market remains sensitive to macroeconomic indicators and exchange rate differences, which were reported by the National Bank in its summary for October 15.
