Garmin has launched a new gadget on the market — the CIRQA Smart Band fitness tracker. This device differs radically from conventional smartwatches and trackers: it has no display. The developers focused on maximum comfort and the absence of digital noise so that users can focus on their health rather than notifications.
The Philosophy of 'Digital Detox'
The main feature of the CIRQA Smart Band is the complete absence of a screen. The device does not show the time, does not display messages, and does not distract the owner with visual signals. Control is reduced to a minimum: all basic functions are activated using a single side button. This approach allows the band to be worn around the clock without irritation from constant vibrations and notifications.
Design and Comfort
The gadget is designed with the needs of long-term wear in mind. It features a soft fabric strap that does not press on the skin. The construction allows the device to be attached not only to the wrist but also to the forearm. This is particularly convenient for athletes engaged in various activities or for those who prefer to wear the tracker on their arm while sleeping for more accurate monitoring.
Powerful Sensor Suite
Despite its minimalist appearance, the CIRQA Smart Band is equipped with a full arsenal of sensors for deep analysis of the body's condition. The device automatically tracks:
- Heart rate and heart rate variability (HRV);
- Blood oxygen level (Pulse Ox);
- Skin temperature;
- Stress level;
- Body energy reserve (Body Battery).
Special attention is paid to sleep analysis. The tracker records rest phases in detail and assesses the body's readiness for physical activity the next day.
Sports Functions and Women's Health
For active users, the band supports over 80 sports. It measures maximum oxygen consumption (VO2 max) and calculates recovery time after workouts. For running and cycling, Connected GPS is used, which synchronizes with a smartphone to map the route. The LiveTrack function for real-time location sharing is also available.
Separately, it is worth noting the women's health functions. The device tracks the menstrual cycle and provides an estimated ovulation assessment based on temperature fluctuations during sleep. Data can be synchronized with the certified Natural Cycles app.
Battery Life and Price
The built-in battery provides up to 10 days of continuous operation on a single charge. The Garmin Connect app is used for data calibration and viewing detailed statistics. The recommended retail price for the Garmin CIRQA Smart Band is $199.99. The gadget is already available for purchase.
