The British publication The Daily Telegraph, citing sources in Western intelligence agencies, revealed a shocking truth: Moroccan authorities deliberately relaxed border control to punish Madrid for its rapprochement with Algeria.
Gas War as the Cause of the Crisis
The root of the conflict was the sharp pivot of Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez towards Algeria.
