In September 2026, the Professional College of Management and Psychology at the Institute of Psychology and Entrepreneurship (IPE) began operations. The new educational institution is focused on training students who aspire to develop in the field of management, learn to lead teams, and master various management methods. This is reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing the institute's press service.
The "Management" Program and the Training Format
The college will train professional junior bachelors under the educational professional program "Management" in the knowledge area of "Business, Administration, and Law." The educational process combines academic training with innovative practical formats: students work with business cases, meet with entrepreneurs and managers, develop teamwork skills, and defend their own projects. In addition, all college students complete internships at IPE's partner companies.
Hybrid Learning and Residence in Kozyn
The form of study at the college is hybrid: the educational process includes online work and in-person sessions in Kyiv Oblast, in the town of Kozyn. According to representatives of the institute, this format is convenient given the security situation in the country. All students reside in a comfortable dormitory located on the college campus during in-person study.
Durations, Diplomas, and the International Track
The duration of study depends on prior education: 3.5 years based on a 9th-grade qualification, and 2.5 years based on an 11th-grade qualification. Upon completion, graduates receive a junior bachelor's diploma and can continue their studies in bachelor's programs at IPE. It is separately noted that there is an opportunity for parallel study at the partner university Riga Nordic University in Latvia, after which graduates receive an internationally recognized diploma.
Management's Position and the Academic Year Context
Tatiana Garets, director of the Professional College of Management and Psychology, emphasized that modern education should help young people not only obtain a diploma but also prepare for real work. "Today, it is not enough for a young person to simply get a diploma. It is important to learn how to make decisions, communicate, work in a team, and understand the business processes taking place in organizations," she said. According to her, this is precisely why the training combines theory and practice, so that the student "can test their abilities in real situations, analyze, draw conclusions, and gradually begin to shape their professional path." It is worth recalling that earlier the Ministry of Education and Science reported that the new academic year at Ukrainian higher education institutions is being started by a total of over one million students, of whom hundreds of thousands are incoming students admitted to bachelor's and master's programs.
