According to the command of the "Odesa" Territorial Defense Forces (OTF), Ukrainian defense forces transitioned to a strategy of total fire control, effectively severing the logistical arteries of the Russian grouping. Denis Nosikov, commander of the "Odesa" OTF, confirmed in an interview with Radio Liberty that the enemy, who previously held positions on the spit, found themselves in a tight defense and is experiencing a critical resource deficit.

Logistical Collapse and the Enemy's "Tight Defense"

According to Denis Nosikov, Russian troops on the Kinburn Spit are isolated. The enemy's main problems are related to the inability to deliver ammunition, fuel, and food. The Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) are recording attempts by Russian soldiers to leave their positions, indicating panic and a lack of prospects for holding the territory. Nosikov noted that the main force holding this section is the 337th Separate Assault Regiment, which, according to him, is incapable of offensive actions and is forced to sit tight in defense.

The situation is exacerbated by the destruction of supply attempts. In particular, the commander reported an incident that occurred a few days ago: when the weather improved, the enemy attempted to bring in eight units of motor vehicles. All vehicles were destroyed by Ukrainian forces before they could deliver the cargo. This led to Russian units retreating from the northern and western sections deeper into the peninsula, trying to shorten the perimeter of defense.

Symbolic Flag and "Ghost Presence" Tactics

One of the most striking events was the appearance of the Ukrainian flag on the territory of the peninsula. It is important to note that this was not the result of a physical capture of the territory by infantry. The flag was installed using an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The spit itself is under total fire control by the AFU, but Ukrainian military personnel are not physically present there. The Kinburn Spit, which has remained under Russian occupation since 2022, has critical strategic significance. The Ukrainian Naval Forces have repeatedly emphasized that from this territory, Russian troops shell the south of the Mykolaiv and Kherson regions.
