Ukrainian telecommunication provider Lanet has officially announced the temporary suspension of its Customer Service Center in Kyiv. Company management made this decision as a preventive security measure to protect both staff and visitors amid ongoing regional risks.
Network Operations and Safety Measures
In their official statement on social media, company representatives stressed that the safety of employees and customers remains the absolute top priority. Despite the physical office closure, the network infrastructure continues to operate normally, ensuring uninterrupted internet and cable television services.
To maintain seamless client service, all consultations and technical support have been shifted to a remote format. Subscribers can easily reach out for assistance via official online services and other available communication channels.
Digital Infrastructure Protection Amid War
The stability and security of Ukraine's data centers and telecom networks remain under close scrutiny due to regular threats targeting critical infrastructure. Earlier, this issue was thoroughly reviewed at a meeting of the High Command Staff.
Controversial Data
While official government plans discuss long-term digital protection strategies—such as moving infrastructure underground, into the cloud, or abroad—expert evaluations regarding the speed and implementation scale for commercial networks vary. Some analysts point out logistical challenges, while others emphasize the adaptability of providers.
Lanet management promised to provide additional updates regarding the resumption of face-to-face operations at the Kyiv Service Center as soon as security conditions allow.
