The lead role was played by TV presenter Lesya Nikityuk, and her on-screen husband was portrayed by actor Vladimir Kravchuk, whom she has known since their KVN days. The plot centers on a woman who once gave up her dream of becoming a TV star for love. A Christmas miracle gives her the opportunity to live an alternative version of her life, and now the heroine must decide which path is truly precious to her. The film is conceived as a family comedy that encourages the viewer to think about their own life choices.
From KVN to the screen: the twenty-year friendship of Nikityuk and Kravchuk
The role of the protagonist's husband—calm, reliable, and deeply in love with her—was brought to life by Vladimir Kravchuk. As the actor himself shared, their collaboration began long before this film: back in 2004, at a KVN festival, they were writing jokes together for Nikityuk's captain's contest. "A jump cut! And now in 2026, we are playing a couple who have no time for jokes. It is always interesting to imagine how your life could have turned out after a certain decision," shared Kravchuk. The actor expressed hope that the story would encourage viewers to think about their own decisions: "I hope the lives of the viewers will also change a little after deciding to come see the film. Of course, for the better!"
"Dream Life" and the film set
Another partner of the heroine—a narcissistic producer from her "dream life"—was played by Yevgeny Lesnichy. According to him, the colleagues often found it difficult to contain their laughter on set, and he hopes that such takes will be shown during the final credits. Most of his scenes were with Nikityuk and Angelina Gushchina. Lesnichy had already worked with Gushchina before, but met the presenter for the first time during the shooting. "I have known Angelina for a long time and we have worked together more than once, but with Lesya it was the first time. But it was so easy! I kept complimenting her on her work," the actor noted. He also emphasized that Nikityuk was fully committed to the work: observing her dedication, he wondered how she had enough energy to last until the end of the shooting day.

The director of the film is Alya Bukhtiyarova. The idea for the picture was proposed by Yuri Mikulenko, who wrote the script together with Mark Lymarenko and Bogdan Tsyganko. Konstantin Ponomarev was responsible for cinematography, and Andrey Grechishkin served as the production designer.
