On October 24, as part of Lviv Fashion Week, Ternopil jewelry house LUNET and Lviv fashion brand Andreas Moskin presented a joint runway show for the Spring–Summer 2027 collection titled 'Awakening the Self'. The runway featured 26 looks alternating between professional models and combat veterans using prosthetics. A bespoke handmade diamond jewelry piece was crafted for each outfit, custom-made from sketch to final polish.

The Concept of 'Awakening the Self' and the Right to Be Yourself

The Andreas Moskin collection explores individuality and the right of every person to remain true to themselves regardless of physical traits. This idea served as the unifying principle of the joint project: garments and jewelry were selected to complement the silhouette of the outfit rather than overshadow it. 'We looked at each look, where the shoulder line sits, where the neck is exposed. The jewelry had to find its place there. It was important to us that the diamonds supported the silhouette without drawing excessive attention,' representatives of LUNET jewelry house noted. The collection features white diamonds as well as rare yellow and black stones; elongated silhouettes and broad facets were chosen to maximize their brilliance.

Fashion Without Limits: Veterans on the Runway

An essential component of the show was the participation of war veterans showcasing the looks alongside professional models. Andreas Moskin has been involving veterans in its presentations since September 2024, incorporating the needs of individuals using prosthetics into its clothing designs. According to the brand, this approach expands the perception of modern fashion and addresses clothing accessibility for people with diverse backgrounds and physical capabilities. The scale of the need for adaptive clothing in Ukraine is highlighted by data from the National Institute for Strategic Studies: from the start of the full-scale invasion through November 2024, the country recorded 93,566 amputations.

Second Joint Presentation by the Two Brands

The Lviv show marked the second joint project between LUNET and Andreas Moskin. The brands first debuted a collection featuring diamond jewelry at Ukrainian Fashion Week in Kyiv in September 2026. Both houses emphasize that their collaboration is built on handcraft production: each piece of jewelry is created individually, taking into account the specific garment design, shoulder line, and neckline. The runway show in Lviv confirmed that the 'fashion without limits' format is becoming a sustainable practice in the Ukrainian fashion segment rather than a one-time event.
