Ukrainian TV presenter Masha Efrosinina has posted rare family photographs on her Instagram page showing her with her husband Timur Khromaiev, who serves in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and their 12-year-old son Oleksandr. The pictures, taken during a short family vacation at a countryside nature resort, became one of the few public displays of family closeness since the war began. The presenter emphasized that amid constant stress and uncertainty, it is especially important to find time for rest and recovery, calling a few days spent close to loved ones a «jackpot».
Family recharge at a nature resort
For their getaway, the couple chose a countryside nature resort where they spent a few days away from the city hustle alongside their son Oleksandr. During the trip, the family managed to take a tour of the local nature reserve's territory, feed wild animals — including wolves and a camel —, see a huge sturgeon at a local fish farm, and dedicate time to watching TV series and getting deep sleep. In her post, Efrosinina described the «only effective formula» for surviving chaos: getting enough sleep, distracting oneself from everything for three to four days, after which «the framework holds for a couple of weeks». In the published photos, Timur Khromaiev hugs his wife and kisses her on the temple, while Oleksandr and Masha pose nearby with warm smiles.
Timur Khromaiev's service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine: from company commander to armament deputy
Timur Khromaiev joined the Defense Forces of Ukraine in 2022, choosing to voluntarily stand up for the country. Initially, he held the position of company commander in an electronic warfare unit. In August 2024, Efrosinina reported that her husband received the «Silver Cross» lapel pin from Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi; by that time, Khromaiev already held the rank of senior lieutenant. In the autumn of 2024, in an interview with the program «Incredible Truth About Stars», the presenter revealed that Timur is assigned to a Kyiv unit and works as a deputy company commander for armament. In 2025, in a comment for the project «Alone with Glamour», Efrosinina noted that she cannot talk in detail about her husband's specific activities, but he has achieved significant results in the fight against the Russian enemy.

First full family vacation: a trip to Spain for their daughter's graduation
Earlier, in the summer of 2026, Efrosinina spoke about her first full family vacation together since the start of the war. The family went to Spain for a week to meet with their daughter Nana and attend her master's graduation. «The fifth summer of the full-scale war. And the first summer when our entire family went on a week-long vacation together. We planned this vacation exclusively for one important event for our family», the presenter wrote. In footage from the graduation, Nana appeared in a graduate gown, while Efrosinina, holding back tears, noted that she «still cannot comprehend» the fact that her daughter is entering adulthood.
