Night Attack on Rivne Region: Residential Sector Damaged, No Casualties Reported

At night, Russian troops launched another air attack on the territory of Ukraine, striking a peaceful residential sector in the Rivne region. As a result of the enemy shelling, destruction and damage to a private residential building were recorded, but according to preliminary official data, human casualties and injuries were successfully avoided.

Aftermath of the Night Strike

Head of the Rivne Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Koval promptly responded to the emergency and personally traveled to the incident site. Currently, all specialized services, including SES rescuers, bomb disposal experts, and investigative-operational groups, are working in an enhanced mode at the damaged facility to record the consequences of another war crime.

Escalation of Night Shelling Across Regions

It is worth noting that this attack became part of a massive raid by enemy drones and missiles on Ukrainian regions. On the evening of the same day, a hit was recorded in Kyiv on a 16-story residential building in the Podilskyi district, where preliminarily there are victims. Simultaneously, strikes hit Sofiivska Borshchahivka, where the territory of the large Stolichny market came under fire, leading to fatalities and numerous injuries.

Contradictory Data

While the official report of the regional military administration states exclusively about damage to a private residential building and the absence of casualties specifically in the Rivne region, reports of more large-scale infrastructure destruction are coming from alternative sources. In particular, specialized publications citing local sources inform about strikes on the city of Dubno, as a result of which part of the settlement was completely left without electricity, and local industrial infrastructure facilities were also damaged.

Local authorities urge citizens not to ignore air raid alerts and to stay in shelters during every new threat from the air. Utility and emergency crews continue their work to restore power supplies and eliminate the consequences of night shelling in the affected regions of the country.
