Consequences of the Strike in Solomianskyi and Pecherskyi Districts
The heaviest consequences were registered in the Solomianskyi district, where debris from an enemy missile crashed directly into the courtyard of a multi-story residential building, damaging the surrounding area. In addition, a direct hit was recorded on an administrative building of a critical infrastructure facility. Rescue services and SES units promptly arrived at the scenes to eliminate fire centers and assist the injured. The situation is complicated by ongoing checks for unexploded ordnance.
Fire at the Educational Institution and Series of Recent Strikes
A separate destruction was a hit on one of the buildings of an educational institution, where a powerful fire broke out as a result of the strike. The teaching staff and students were not injured, but the material damage to the educational facility is colossal. It is worth noting that the attack occurred against the background of escalating strikes on civil objects in the capital. The day before, on September 28, a Russian drone hit the building of the National Academy of Sciences in central Kyiv, resulting in the deaths of two people, including the assistant to the former NSDC Secretary Horbulin. On the same day, the Dobrobut medical center came under fire, and the clinic temporarily suspended operations.

During the monitoring of information about the nighttime shelling, certain discrepancies arose in estimates of the scale of destruction and the classification of the deployed weaponry between local publics and official KCMA reports. While independent monitoring channels reported the use of hypersonic or modernized long-range ballistic missiles with a ballistic trajectory from the Black Sea water areas, the military administration emphasizes the standard nature of the ballistic threat intercepted by air defense forces.
