Ukrainian tennis player Oleksandra Oleinikova, ranked 52nd in the WTA rankings, has concluded her participation in the WTA 250 tournament in Iași (Romania). In the semi-final match, she lost to Egypt's Mayar Sherif (97th in the world) with a score of 0:2 in sets, depriving herself of a chance to fight for the main prize.

However, the Ukrainian managed to quickly regroup, winning three games in a row and seizing the initiative — the score became 3:2 in her favor.
