As Natalia Ptukha, Head of the Media Relations Department of the Ukrhydrometeorological Center, notes, a gradual drop in temperature to climatic norms is expected in Ukraine at the end of October. Forecasters predict a more noticeable cold snap starting as early as October 29. At the same time, sharp temperature contrasts and frosts are not expected yet. According to the preliminary assessment of the Ukrhydrometeorological Center, the average air temperature in November and winter may be 1–2 °C higher than the climatic norm, indicating a relatively mild second half of autumn and beginning of winter.
