The armed forces of the Russian Federation carried out a targeted missile strike on the production facilities of the Ukrainian women's outerwear brand Mangelo in Kharkiv. The incident occurred in early October 2026, resulting in large-scale destruction of the enterprise's infrastructure and human casualties among the company's staff and management.

Scale of the Tragedy and Victims

According to an official statement by the Mangelo press service, the missile hit the company's workshop directly. As a result of the direct hit, people died and dozens of employees sustained injuries of varying severity. Currently, many injured members of the sewing production team are in medical facilities under the supervision of doctors, receiving all necessary emergency assistance.

Destruction of Production

The company's management reports colossal material losses and virtually complete destruction of the production base. Brand representatives note that they lost almost all property located on the enterprise's territory. Experts will be able to assess the exact volumes of destroyed finished goods, surviving raw materials, and the extent of damage to the workshop's load-bearing structures only after the completion of all rescue and investigative work at the scene.

Context of Hostile Shelling in Kharkiv

This attack is part of a broader wave of massive strikes on Kharkiv's infrastructure. Recall that on October 5, Russian troops launched a series of guided aerial bomb strikes on the city. At that time, warehouse facilities, over 30 multi-story apartment buildings, and more than 20 private homes suffered large-scale destruction, and rescuers discovered the bodies of dead civilians under the rubble of the destroyed sewing workshop.
