The situation on the line of contact underwent significant changes in July. According to the commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces (USF), Robert Brovdy, known by the callsign "Madyar," the enemy significantly increased its activity, leading to a rise in both the number of deployed soldiers and their casualties.
Casualty Statistics and Enemy Activity
An analysis by the USF intelligence center showed that the actual number of enemy personnel participating in assault operations increased by 18% in July compared to May and by 12% compared to June. This indicates an attempt by Moscow to accelerate offensive operations.
At the same time, the effectiveness of Ukrainian pilots also increased. The rate of enemy personnel destruction in July rose by 11% compared to the previous month. As of July 25, the counter already recorded 9,028 verified hits. It is expected that by the end of the month, this threshold will confidently exceed the mark of 11,000 people.
The average daily rate of destruction in July was 365 people, which is a record value for the last three months: for comparison, in May this figure was 310, and in June — 329.
"One-Way Ticket": The Tactics of Deception
Robert Brovdy revealed one of the key reasons for the increase in the activity of assault groups. According to him, the enemy is trying to hide the real situation on the front, "bridging" the gap between false reports and the actual state of positions.
To do this, special infiltration groups are created with the task of penetrating positions to take photo or video evidence. The USF commander called this task a "one-way ticket" (from English "one way ticket"). The haste in carrying out such tasks is explained either by the approaching inspections from the leadership or the need to report after receiving punishment for failures.
Hidden Mobilization and External Threats
Despite the fact that Vladimir Putin has not publicly announced a new mobilization, probably due to the upcoming elections in September, the hidden replenishment of the ranks of the Russian army continues. Brovdy noted that it is impossible to hide the signs of such recruitment from modern intelligence methods.
These data correlate with the statements of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The head of state previously reported that Kyiv has clear information about the preparation of a massive new wave of mobilization in Russia in the coming months. Zelenskyy also stated about the Kremlin's plans to attract new soldiers from North Korea, which confirms the scale of the preparation for the escalation of the conflict.
