A new rocket strike by Russia has been recorded in the Odesa region. As a result of the attack, the roof of a two-story residential house caught fire in one of the settlements. Rescue services arrived promptly and extinguished the fire, preventing it from spreading further.
Casualties and consequences of the strike
According to Oleksandr Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, three people were injured in the shelling. Among them are two women and a one-year-old girl (1 year and 10 months old). One of the women required hospitalization, while the child received medical assistance on an outpatient basis, without being admitted to a hospital.
In addition to the residential house, solar panels at one of the local enterprises were damaged. Cleanup operations are ongoing at the impact sites.
New tactics of Russian strikes
Russia continues to launch massive strikes on Ukrainian regions using various types of weaponry. Today, the first use of a guided air bomb against Pavlohrad was recorded — such strikes on this city had not been registered before. This resulted in destruction and injuries to local residents.
There is also a noted increase in the use of hybrid targets — combinations of drones and missiles. This tactic complicates the work of Ukrainian air defense systems, requiring constant adaptation and modernization of protective mechanisms.
