On the morning of October 25, 2026, Russian forces launched another massive drone attack on Kharkiv. The strikes damaged a multi-story residential building in the Osnovianskyi district, while civilian facilities and vehicles in other parts of the city were also hit, as confirmed by local authorities.

Attack on Residential Sector and City Districts

Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported via his Telegram channel that an enemy drone hit a multi-story residential building located in the Osnovianskyi district. Specialized services are working at the site of the falling debris and detonation to assess the scale of destruction and check for casualties in the area.

Additionally, an enemy drone was recorded in the Novobavarskyi district of the city. As a result of the strike, four cars parked near residential buildings sustained damage. According to preliminary data from the city administration, there were no civilian casualties at this location.

Night Strikes on Shopping Center and Enterprise

On the same night, a wave of drones hit other urban infrastructure facilities. A shopping center—which social media reports suggest might be the last operating Epicenter complex in the city—and a civilian industrial enterprise came under fire.

As a result of the nighttime hits, large-scale fires broke out at the facilities, requiring prompt intervention by rescue services. According to official information, four people were injured during the liquidation of the consequences of the night shelling, including three employees of the State Emergency Service.

Consequences and Situation in the Region

Repeated air attacks on residential neighborhoods and infrastructure facilities are causing serious damage to the urban environment of Kharkiv. Emergency and utility services continue to eliminate the consequences of the night and morning strikes, clear rubble, and provide necessary assistance to affected citizens.
