On the morning of Tuesday, October 13, 2026, Russian forces launched another terrorist attack on Dnipro using guided aerial bombs (KABs). The shelling targeted densely populated areas of the city and vital logistics facilities, resulting in significant damage to civilian infrastructure. Local authorities and rescue services promptly responded to the emergency, beginning the cleanup operations at the impact sites.
Consequences of the Morning Shelling
According to official information from the leadership of the regional military administration and the regional council, the strikes caused severe damage to the housing stock. In particular, multi-story residential buildings were damaged, windows shattered, and facades and roofs breached. Additionally, shrapnel and blast waves destroyed or heavily damaged cars parked in local courtyards, as well as a city transport infrastructure facility.
Condition of Victims and Medical Assistance
During the enemy bombing, a 64-year-old local resident was injured. The man promptly received all necessary first aid from ambulance crews that arrived at the scene. Fortunately, the victim refused hospitalization, and doctors assess his condition as stable with no threat to his life.
Context and Previous Attacks on the Region
It is worth noting that Dnipro and the Dnipropetrovsk region have been subjected to regular and intensive shelling by Russian forces in recent days. Just a few days prior, on the night of October 11, the city was attacked by enemy drones, which also led to the destruction of a residential high-rise and large-scale fires at warehouses. Furthermore, on October 10, the region endured three waves of attacks in a single day, confirming the systematic terror against the civilian population of Ukraine.
