A new incident has occurred in Kherson, serving as shocking evidence of systematic terror against the civilian population. A Russian drone deliberately attacked a man selling vegetables at a market. This was reported by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in his Telegram channel.

Deliberate Attack on a Vendor

According to published data, the drone did not simply strike a territory but hunted a specific victim. The unmanned aircraft tracked the man selling vegetables and then exploded in his immediate vicinity. As a result of the attack, the civilian sustained serious injuries.

Police data indicates the victim was a 52-year-old resident of the Mykolaiv region. He suffered blast injuries, shrapnel wounds, and a concussion. Fortunately, the man survived and received necessary medical assistance.

Admission of Guilt

Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that the Russian side itself published video footage of this attack. According to the Ukrainian leader, this is a factual admission of the crime. Furthermore, he noted that Russian military personnel are not hiding their attitude toward such actions, displaying pride in these so-called «safaris» against peaceful residents.

The President stated that such attacks on civilians in Kherson happen daily, and the world must realize the reality of what is happening.

Call for International Pressure

Zelenskyy linked the need to stop such attacks to a global security strategy. He emphasized that without increasing pressure on Russia and dismantling its aggressive potential, it is impossible to ensure lasting peace.

«The world must act in such a way as to force Russia to think about ending the war, rather than increasing the range of its drones», — the President declared.

He called for closer cooperation among a number of countries to strengthen joint security. The list of partners named by Zelenskyy includes Finland, Kazakhstan, the Baltic states, Poland, the countries of the South Caucasus, Romania, and Moldova. The goal of such unity is to bring the end of the war closer and prevent the spread of Russian aggression to other countries.

In conclusion, Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked partners for their support of Ukraine, noting that peace is valuable and requires the cooperation of all who truly desire it.
