The new head of the Ukrainian government, Sergey Koretsky, immediately after his appointment, set a course for radical optimization of the state apparatus. Under martial law, the Prime Minister demanded that ministries not just report on their work, but demonstrate specific, measurable results.

In his Telegram channel, Koretsky reported on a meeting with the State Secretary of the Cabinet of Ministers, Konstantin M. The main topic of the dialogue was the need to restructure management processes. The Prime Minister emphasized that henceforth, the government will exercise strict control over the implementation of adopted decisions.

Action Plan: from coordination to reforms

Koretsky formulated clear requirements for the work of state structures. He expects high-quality organization of processes and uninterrupted coordination between various ministries. According to the Prime Minister, Ukraine needs a professional apparatus capable of ensuring rapid management in crisis conditions.

Public administration reform became a separate and key topic of discussion. Koretsky, known for his work at Naftogas during mass attacks on gas infrastructure, brings to the government experience in managing under extreme pressure.

Deadlines and specific goals

To implement his plans, the Prime Minister has already issued specific instructions. Yesterday, Koretsky announced that all ministries are required to submit proposals for the new Cabinet of Ministers activity program within seven days. The document is planned to be submitted for government consideration by August 5.

The new Program will become the main tool for evaluating the efficiency of both individual ministries and the government as a whole. According to Koretsky's plan, the document should contain:

  • Specific activity goals;
  • Clear deadlines for their achievement;
  • Measurable work results.

Sergey Koretsky's appointment as Prime Minister took place on July 16. The Verkhovna Rada approved the candidacy, and President Volodymyr Zelenskyy explained this choice as a necessity to prepare the country for winter.
