An armed incident involving employees of the Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center (TCC) occurred in the Odesa region. Preliminary data indicates that during population notification activities, an unknown man opened fire with a pistol at the agency's workers.

Course of events and injuries

The situation developed rapidly. Video footage, which quickly spread across social media, captured the moment of the arrest. During the conflict, several shots were fired. According to the press service of the Main Directorate of the National Police (NDP) in the Odesa region, four TCC employees were hit by gunfire.

The injured received medical assistance. Law enforcement agencies responded promptly to the incident and began searching for the shooter.

Arrest and weapon details

The police managed to locate and arrest the suspect. According to updated data, the man was shooting with a Flobert pistol—a weapon often used for sport shooting but which can pose a threat at close range.

"The weapon will be sent for expert examination. The offender has been detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine," the police clarified.

Context of the situation in the region

This incident is not the only case of escalating violence in the region recently. Previously, other armed conflicts were recorded in Odesa: a man opened fire in a pizzeria, and there was a chase involving gunfire, resulting in the arrest of eight representatives of the Peresyp TCC and one district police officer.
