On the night of July 18, the Ukrainian Defense Forces conducted a large-scale operation, striking key infrastructure objects and enemy warships. The attacks affected Russian territory, including the Moscow and Tambov regions, as well as the waters of the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea. The main goal was to disrupt supply chains and inflict damage on the military fleet.

Fires at Fuel Depots and Logistics Centers

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, one of the main targets of the operation was the "Nafto-Service" oil depot in Noginsk, Moscow region. A direct hit was recorded, after which a large fire broke out at the facility. The military emphasize that the object was actively used for storing and further supplying fuel, including for the needs of the Russian army.

In addition to Noginsk, other important logistics hubs were hit. A fire occurred at a Wildberries marketplace logistics center in Elektrostal, in the Moscow region. Drones also attacked the city of Kotovsk in the Tambov region, where fire engulfed another logistics complex.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on these events, stating that the hit targets deep inside Russian territory were used to supply components subject to sanctions. This refers to parts for the production of unmanned aerial vehicles and navigation equipment necessary for the operation of Russian military equipment.

Strikes on the Fleet and Bridges

A significant part of the effort was directed at maritime communications. The Defense Forces hit several units of floating equipment in the waters of the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea. According to official data, two tankers, two floating cranes, and one tugboat were hit.

The General Staff paid special attention to the destruction of the Project 10410 patrol boat "Svetlyak", which was located in Kerch. The military noted that this is already the second ship of this type destroyed in the last two days, which indicates systematic work to weaken the enemy's naval forces.

Disruption of Transport Arteries

To disrupt military logistics, infrastructure in the occupied territory of the Luhansk region was attacked. Ukrainian military forces struck a railway bridge over the Belaya River near the settlement of Sabovka. This object was an important element of the transport network that Russian occupiers used to transport cargo and equipment.
