Ukrainians should be prepared for the whims of nature: next week, the weather in the country will be extremely unstable. According to a forecast by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, cited by RBC-Ukraine, residents can expect precipitation, lightning, and locally hail and squally winds almost every day.
Temperature fluctuations and extreme phenomena
The main feature of the coming week will be a sharp change in temperature regimes. Thermometer readings will fluctuate from scorching heat reaching +35°C to more comfortable and cooler figures. Such instability creates ideal conditions for the formation of powerful atmospheric fronts.
Detailed forecast by day
The situation will begin to develop at the beginning of the week. On Monday, July 20, the sky will be mostly cloudy with clearings. However, moderate rain is expected across the entire country, except for the east and southeast. In the northern and central regions, precipitation may be heavy, accompanied by thunderstorms.
Forecasters warn of the risk of dangerous phenomena: during the day, hail and squalls with wind gusts of up to 15-20 m/s are possible in certain areas.
The situation on Tuesday, July 21, will change slightly: rain will continue, but it will be local and will not affect all regions. On Wednesday, July 22, light precipitation is forecast only in a few regions, while the weather in central Ukraine will be dry.
By Thursday, July 23, the situation will stabilize: precipitation will practically cease, but the air will noticeably cool down. On Friday, July 24, rain will return, but it will only pass through a number of eastern and western regions.
