Night Strike on Industrial Kyiv
On the night of September 24, 2026, the Russian armed forces launched a massive strike on Ukrainian territory, deploying Zircon anti-ship missiles, ballistic missiles, and 282 strike drones. Air defense forces shot down 227 aerial targets; however, some of the munitions reached facilities in Odesa and Kyiv regions. In an appeal published on social media, Alexander Sokolovsky described the scale of the destruction: "It is very difficult to write about this. Tonight the enemy reached us too. This was a ballistic missile hit on our main production facility and logistics warehouse of 'TK-Home Textile.' Unfortunately, there is significant destruction of everything we had been building for years." At the same time, he emphasized a key fact for the company — as a result of the shelling, not a single employee was harmed. Sokolovsky thanked customers and suppliers for their support and assured that the company "will do everything to not let them down" and will continue to fulfill its obligations.
Scale of Damage and Recovery Plans
According to available data, the ballistic missile caused serious damage to both the production workshops and the enterprise's logistics warehouse. In his appeal, Sokolovsky emphasized that the destroyed facilities were ones the company had been building "for years." Despite the scale of the material damage, the co-owner of "Tekstil-Contact" declared readiness to continue operations: "We are holding on, and no matter how hard and painful it is, we will live and 'do our thing.' The main thing is that we have a strong and professional team, and that is our main treasure and capital." The company did not disclose the exact amount of damage or the timeline for restoring production.

The night attack on September 24 was one of the most massive in recent times. In addition to ballistic missiles and Zircon missiles, Russia used 282 strike drones. Air defense intercepted 227 targets; however, some munitions reached ground facilities. As a result of the strike on Kyiv, two people were killed, and at least eight more were injured. In the Dniprovskyi district of the capital, State Emergency Service (SES) rescuers freed a person from under the rubble of a destroyed residential building. Consequences of munition impacts were also recorded in Odesa region. The overall picture of the attack indicates the continuation of the Russian strategy of strikes on Ukraine's industrial and civilian infrastructure.
