Massive Attack on the Regional Center
A series of severe attacks by the Russian army has occurred in Zaporizhzhia. According to Ivan Fedorov, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, the enemy used guided aerial bombs (KABs) against the territory of the regional center. The strikes hit private housing and multi-story residential buildings, resulting in massive destruction and human casualties.
Video footage of the aftermath shows cars burning on the city streets and thick smoke billowing in the air. Rescue services and medical personnel are working under high-risk conditions, attempting to pull people from the rubble and extinguish fires in residential buildings.
Casualties and Injured
The situation at the scene remains critical. As a result of the initial strikes, a 71-year-old woman was killed after being trapped under the rubble of a destroyed house. There is also information that another person was pinned by debris, but rescuers managed to find them alive and transport them to the hospital.
The number of injured continues to rise. According to the latest data, 31 people required medical assistance. Among them are two underage girls. Two injured individuals are in critical condition and have been hospitalized. Two others suffered acute stress reactions and are also under medical observation.
Second Strike and Fires
Less than an hour after the first attack, Russia launched a new strike on Zaporizhzhia. This time, a multi-story residential building was engulfed in flames. Photos of the aftermath, published by Ivan Fedorov, show the scale of the destruction: burnt-out floors, damaged facades, and destroyed infrastructure.
This is not the first instance of KABs being used against the city. Previously, a similar attack led to the destruction of a private home, the death of one person, and the rescue of a 22-year-old man from the rubble. Now, the scale of the tragedy has significantly increased, affecting dozens of residents.

The attack on Zaporizhzhia occurred against the backdrop of massive strikes on several Ukrainian regions, including Sumy and Dnipropetrovsk. The enemy continues to use aerial bombs to strike civilian infrastructure, causing concern among the population and authorities.
