On the night of October 17, the Russian military launched a glide bomb airstrike on Kherson: according to the military administration, 15 people were injured, including children and a family with an infant, and an ambulance driver was killed.

Tymofiy Yurkov, co-founder of Contra-Drone, explained why ballistic missiles and guided bombs are significantly harder to suppress with electronic warfare systems than ordinary drones: flight altitude, mass launches, and a larger explosive mass reduce the effectiveness of countermeasures.

BlueBird Tech expert Valeriy Zarubin stated that the mass use of KABs is limited not only by a shortage of aircraft but also by risks to pilots. The future lies with heavy unmanned aerial vehicles and turbojet munitions.
